After SpaceX’s Falcon 9 exploded on the launch pad this morning, we now have video account its final moments. The video, shot by US Launch Report — a non-profit that brings aggressive veterans to attestant space launches — shows the rocket being fueled before being engulfed in flames.

The rocket, and its $95 million-plus burden — a Facebook-owned Amos-6 accessory — were both destroyed. The accessory was meant to accommodate free internet access to millions in Sub-Saharan Africa as part of CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s Internet.org initiative.

Zuckerberg provided this account via Facebook:

I’m deeply aghast to hear that SpaceX’s launch abortion destroyed our accessory that would have provided connectivity to so many entrepreneurs and anybody else across the continent. Fortunately, we have developed other technologies … that will affix people as well. We remain committed to our mission of abutting everyone, and we will keep alive until anybody has the opportunities this accessory would have provided.
