The US government has blacklisted 28 Chinese organizations for their declared captivation in perpetrating analytical abuses adjoin the Uyghur Muslim boyhood residing in the country’s Xinjiang province.

Hikvision and Dahua Technology, in particular, are two of the world’s better manufacturers and suppliers of video surveillance technologies. Both the companies are partially controlled by the Chinese government, and have R&D centers across altered cities such as Montreal and London.

“Specifically, these entities have been active in human rights violations and abuses in the accomplishing of China’s attack of repression, mass approximate detention, and high-technology surveillance adjoin Uyghurs, Kazakhs, and other associates of Muslim boyhood groups in the XUAR [Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region],” the US Commerce Department filing noted.
